Q2 2024 Android App Insights for Top Fast Food Chains in the US

As we delve into the second quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps continue to serve up digital convenience on Android platforms in the US. Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of their performance, with detailed insights available on our platform.
Performance of Top Fast Food Apps
McDonald's showed a steady increase in downloads, starting at 2.3M in early April and peaking at 3.4M by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, beginning at 113K and escalating to a surge of 176K in late May, before settling at 154K.
KFC CZ experienced fluctuations in app downloads, with an initial 2.6M downloads that dipped to 2.1M and then rebounded to 2.6M in June. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 23K mark throughout the quarter.
Burger King Czech Republic had an interesting quarter with a humble beginning of just 18 downloads in mid-April, which then skyrocketed to 970 by the end of June. Unfortunately, data on weekly active users was not available.
BURGER KING® Magyarország saw a decline in downloads from 449 to 22, with the most significant drop occurring in late May. The active user count also decreased from 955 to 765 by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, McDonald’s Deutschland maintained a moderate download count, which grew from 125 to 278 throughout the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, starting at 2.9K and peaking at 3.3K in the last week of June.
